6 Cherry Drive Colts Neck Another Home Sold By The Ten Hoeve Realty Group

Timing is everything! On June 30, 2017 the Roths officially became the new owners of 6 Cherry Drive, Colts Neck although it would be a few more weeks until they officially moved in. As the previous owners needed some additional time to move out of Cherry and into their new home near the Reservoir in Colts Neck, both parties agreed to a Use and Occupancy Agreement. Also known as a “Sale Lease-Back”, this is when a transfer of ownership and transfer of occupancy happen asynchronously. In other words, the buyers took ownership of the home but allowed the sellers to stay for a period of time afterward. 


It’s funny how even the closing and move-in were closely tied to the concept of time. Our client’s move back to New Jersey was a carefully choreographed dance with the clock and calendar from the sale of their condo in Atlantic Highlands and sale of their family residence in Duxbury, Massachusetts to their search in Colts Neck, offers, inspections, contingencies, and finally the storybook ending on Cherry Drive. 


The Roths are a wonderful family that always have a smile on their face and warmth in their heart no matter what chaos might be surrounding them. There’s no denying that “what you focus on expands”. Happiness attracts happiness and vice versa. The Roth’s new neighbors only confirmed this. Colts Neck is a rural, equestrian suburb. The average lot size is over 1 acre. The town is spread out, without much of a business district / town center. Those who are attracted here generally prefer to keep to themselves, kind-hearted and genuine as they may be. However, sensing I’m sure the makeup of their newest neighbor, the folks on Cherry Drive wasted no time in stopping by to introduce themselves and welcome the Roths to the neighborhood with brownies and smiles all around. 


We just don’t see this often anymore. Seeing a community come join together and helping a client find not just the right house, but the right home brings a unique sense of satisfaction. Responsibility is in the details.
